If you are an experienced Red Seal Carpenter or a 4th year apprentice and looking to move up in a growing construction company, then we absolutely want to talk to you!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of carpentry work including measuring and cutting materials, constructing structures, and installing fixtures. Demolition and site prep is occasionally required.
  • Work with a wide range of tools including power saws, hammers, drills, and hand tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Install and maintain interior and exterior finishes such as drywall, trim, siding, and roofing.
  • Build and install cabinets, counters, and other custom woodworking projects
  • Estimate materials and labor costs for projects
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ALWAYS!
  • Provide training and guidance to apprentice carpenters as needed

Qualifications:

  • Red Seal certification as a Carpenter preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Experience with interior and exterior finishes such as drywall, trim, siding, and roofing
  • Experience building and installing cabinets, counters, and other custom woodworking projects
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to estimate materials and labor costs accurately
  • Familiarity with building codes and safety standards
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Must be able to work at heights and on ladders or scaffolding

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. ($33 and up)

Responsibilities:

  • Understands the client’s need to have the project finished on time and on budget.
  • Confidently oversees each project from start to finish, handling all aspects of running any size of job site. Including scheduling of sub-trades, our team, and receiving materials
  • Liases with the Project Manager to ensure all aspects of the job run smoothly
  • Clear communication skills while understanding the fine balance between kicking someone’s ass and compassionately influencing them to be productive.
  • Supervises the team on-site while liaising with trade/supply partners
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and specifications and communicating out to the rest of the team
  • Helping to estimate materials and labor costs for projects
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ALWAYS!
  • Diplomatically communicate in a professional manner to clients when required
  • Provide training and guidance to all on-site team members as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of site supervision experience in the Construction industry, specifically in custom residential or commercial tenant improvement projects that include a high level of design detail (Required)
  • Experience with construction management and coordination, understanding of project budget & schedule monitoring (Required)
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to estimate materials and labor costs accurately
  • Familiarity with building codes and safety standards
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:
